Culture

It is every architect's big dream to create a good framework for the dissemination of art, culture, and creativity. In LINK, we have experience with a wide range of cultural buildings, from tourist attractions and multi-purpose premises to museums and churches.

A cultural building shall be a dissemination arena and social meeting place that stimulates togetherness and good experiences. At the same time, it must be a building that stimulates our senses and allows for unfoldment. A cultural building should have a high architectural quality and ensure a sustainability profile considering social, economic, and environmental aspects.

LINK represents all subject areas and can guide you through the entire project process. We can form a holistic perspective and be insightful advisors and supporters by getting involved early in the project.

We design cultural facilities for local communities, social interactions, and recreation. These include religious buildings, theatres, libraries, museums, sports, and arts facilities.

Cultural buildings are complex in terms of use, their functions, materials, shape, design, sustainability, and life cycle. It must be easy to orientate oneself, appear inclusive, and be easily accessible. Flexible solutions and good communication paths lay the groundwork for good flow and accessibility for everyone.

A cultural building should have a high architectural quality involving functional, technical, and formal aspects. It is about a holistic perspective where you create a clear identity that plays on the team with the surroundings. Where aesthetics and inspiration are paramount. Where inclusion and universal design are handled. Ultimately, it is about adding extra value for people to create places that provide a framework for a high quality of life. A cultural building should stimulate the senses, promote creativity and inspiration, bring people closer together and also be able to be a place for pensiveness and reflection.
