Nordisk Film
A touch of New York
LINK Arkitektur has worked with interior concept and spatial planning of Nordisk Film’s new head office in Oslo.
The offices cover 3,500 square metres and are inspired by New York loft style with a distinct architectural and aesthetic industrial feel. High ceilings are supported by thick columns, and exposed brick walls and large window surfaces let in plenty of light. LINK has also been responsible for all fixtures and fittings. In collaboration with developer Storm Properties, LINK designed the overall colour and material concepts as well as the lighting.
Nordisk Film is a leading entertainment company in the Nordics involved in the production and distribution of films and series, cinema management, computer games, digital gifts and digital advertising. The entire building needed to reflect the company’s main area of work in the film and gaming business. The result is a modern media house in a building that accommodates multiple functions. The client wanted to create a natural arena for the film industry, with creative rooms for planning film productions and writing rooms for script creation, in addition to efficient workspaces for cutting and editing. The premises have been designed to facilitate creative joy and passionate storytelling in the workplace.
