INAB

Strong visual identity creates a memorable brand

With carefully selected materials and small changes, INAB has obtained a workplace that reflects the company culture and meets their high sustainability requirements.

We have worked with few, effective measures to achieve a functional, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing office for INAB. The project demonstrates a fantastic working environment that attracts employees to the office and highlights the importance of analyzing needs, setting goals, involving employees and developing a common direction to achieve the best possible results
Klara Brunnström, interior architect

An inviting environment

INAB wanted an environment and an office space that attracted both partners and employees in the aftermath of the pandemic: a meeting place where everyone can feel welcome.

INAB's new office is designed based on the company's working methodology, where flexibility is central. The office provides space for the 15 employees to develop and houses both social areas, conference rooms and quiet zones with individual offices.

The color palette is designed according to INAB's graphic profile. Metal, orange, yellow and black meet the softer values of the business through fabric furniture, warm colors and materials such as wood and linoleum. The contrast between the tenants' large and robust infrastructure projects and the soft, welcoming office environment has given INAB a workplace where the employees can work, gather, develop and thrive.

High sustainability goals

The aim was to achieve functionality and design ambition, with minimal modifications. The interior architects have actively worked to reduce the need for resource extraction, maximize reuse, supply sustainable products and enable a circular economy.

To optimize the layout, a couple of walls have been taken down and some rooms have been added by building new walls, the surfaces are maximally utilized for the needs of the business. The existing textile floors were retained and on some surfaces they were supplemented with the same type, from the property owner's warehouse. In addition, the adaptations have been kept to a minimum to minimize the climate impact. The furniture is chosen based on a circular perspective where the possibility of repairing, dismantling and replacing certain parts has been important, as has a timeless and robust design that withstands change and stands the test of time. 95% of the furnishings meet the requirements for Möbelfakta and 100% of the textiles are certified with Oeko-Tex and/or EU Ecolabel.

Through reuse, waste minimization, low carbon dioxide emissions and environmentally friendly materials, the interior design contributes to a sustainable future and a responsible construction and property sector. The office is also nominated for Sweden's most beautiful office 2023.
