VOLA T60 hand shower

An award-winning harmonic design

The original T2 hand shower can be said to be almost iconic for Arne Jacobsen’s design. So the bar was set high for the design of a new hand shower. But LINK Arkitektur’s earlier design of a new head shower meant the foundation was already laid. The design is based on the same principle: a cylindrical shape and the Nordic style.

The nozzles are recessed from the surface. The slim cylinder is supported, and the handle the bearing element. To emphasise this principle, the handle protrudes beyond the actual shower head and the diameter of the shower head is 60 mm. It is equivalent to the size of the shower head itself and gives a harmonic expression when the shower head is placed in the holder.

The hand shower’s wall holder is light and can be adjusted in all directions with just one hand. There is also an emphasis on potential water saving, and the shower head can reduce the water consumption to just 7.5 litres per minute.

The VOLA T60 hand shower enhances any room, and has been awarded three international design prizes: GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2015, German Design Award 2016 og Iconic Design Award 2015.
