Nya Pedagogen, Gothenbug

The Teachers Faculty at the Gothenburg University has moved to the centre of Gothenburg. Now the City University has been realised.

The assignment covered three different buildings. The Social Building was refurbished and extended. Here we find the library, the administration, teachers and researchers workplaces, lecture theatres and a café.

The New Building is a five storey addition enclosing lecture theatres, classrooms for nature science, computer rooms, reading places and a restaurant.

The Old Latin Building was adapted to modern education with teaching kitchens and students accommodations.

The interior design assignment covered all three buildings and co-operation with three different building architects.

Building architects: Nyréns arkitektkontor (The Social Building), 3xnielsen (The New Building), Arkitektlaget (The Old Latin Building).
