Interior Work - New café in the Science Park in Oslo

Construction work and renovation of new buildings has been ongoing in the Oslo Science Park for many years.  LINK arkitektur won a competition for the task of creating a new café in the oldest building.

The concept is based on the idea of creating an internal "green lung" as a natural meeting place for staff and visitors. A vivid and strong use of colour, wallpaper and furnishings stand out in contrast to the building in general. It is an attractive and pleasant place, well suited for work and recreation.  The furnishings are varied and inviting, whilst providing opportunities for those who prefer solitude.

The café is equipped with five meeting rooms, an innovative and unusual combination, and  a viable concept for the future.
