The overall objective of the project was to design an office that would work as a model of architectural design and environmental innovation - as well as being a “window on the world”. The office has been designed to support enhanced collaboration, increased knowledge sharing and mentoring and to promote new working methods and inspire amplified architectural awareness. The environment has been a priority at all stages of the process, and the new office is completely climate neutral. The working environment supports LINK arkitektur´s way of working, provides inspiration and boosts wellbeeing.

Proximity to the neighbouring Umeå School of Architecture also presents new opportunities. The office will regulary be able to offer workspace to a number of architecture students.
