People live and work in the environments that we help to create. We therefore put thought into everyday landscapes, the environments we move about in on a daily basis and which we cannot avoid. On the way to work, at the station, in the school playground, in the city square, the street where we live. We are concerned that children, adolescents, adults and older people can live in surroundings that provide a framework in which they can develop and live well. We can experience meeting and getting to know new people, if the environment allows for it. Health research shows that these environments are significant for how we develop as people. Climate change is also an integral part of our design process, and we therefore have particular concern for natural elements such as trees and water. Biodiversity, water management and flooding issues are important, and our philosophy is to strengthen and develop the ecological functions and relationships in the countryside. What's good for nature is also good for us as people!
